There is an ensuite hot shower and sink. A kitchen area with gas hob and sink for cooking inside is supplied with pots, pans, and utensils. A dining table with comfortable chairs. A super warm cosy log burner and a luxurious bed that you will not want to leave. Power is supplied by solar panels, this gives you bright lights, USB charging points to charge phones, entertain yourself with your music or perhaps watch a romantic film on your tablet.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Atmospheric lighting to set the mood inside and out.
A mile-long farm track is where your adventure starts. The lane is long and bumpy so you must take your time and enjoy the beautiful views of the valley. Unfortunately, low profile cars will have a tough time getting to us and are not really suitable for the lane.
You arrive at your destination with your own carpark and turning point. Inside the post box, you will find a walkie talkie to let us know you have arrived, or you can continue up the lane 150yards and find us in the house.
There are wheelbarrows at the carpark to assist with moving luggage and supplies. We will give you any assistance if you need it.
A compost toilet is just a short walk out the back. It has a stable door so you can enjoy the views while you sit on your throne. You will be greeted with a welcome pack with various goodies on your arrival.
Fresh free range eggs and seasonal veg from the small holding are available to purchase.
We want you to relax and enjoy your stay, so included in your price is a fully stocked log store under the deck and a basked of logs inside. We also supply kindling, firelighters and matches. This should keep you nice and warm or cooking on the outdoor fire pit for the duration of your stay.
There is a cast-iron cooking set for cooking over the fire pit with a Dutch oven and various pans so you can truly get back to nature and enjoy the stars.
We also supply two torches so you can find your way about at night.
